ADAPTIVE TECHNOLOGY: THE PERFECT UP-SHIFT, EVERY TIME
Professional technology combined with a simple interface. Thanks to its racing-type full bridge load cell, GRIPONE QUICK SHIFTER measures the force applied to the lever and the speed at which that force is applied. The adaptive system adjusts the shift timing accordingly. In addition, the sensitivity threshold is slightly modified, anticipating the activation of the cut-off. This makes shifting almost “predictive”!!!
The advanced GRIPONE algorithm automatically adjusts the cut-off times based on engine speed and load, ensuring smooth shifting in all conditions. This directly counteracts the fear of rough running at low revs.
PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION
WIRING LOOM
The electrical installation is very easy and the kit is plug & play. We provide you with the complete device with wiring for connection to the original coil connectors on your motorcycle. Simply connect the coils of all cylinders to the GRIPONE wiring harness and a ground wire to the frame.
"FULL BRIDGE" LOAD CELL
The kit includes our load cell sensor. GRIPONE uses a “full bridge” load cell, which is the most professional solution among load cells. Other manufacturers have piezoelectric or “half bridge” sensors, which can have adjustment problems or be too sensitive. The “full bridge” solution, on the other hand, is the most reliable solution. To install the device, simply replace the gear shift pedal linkage rod with our rod with load cell. The sensor will detect the rider’s action with every gear change.
ADJUSTMENTS
GRIPONE QUICK SHIFTER is extremely easy to adjust. We have simplified user adjustment, keeping all the complex management algorithms inside the control unit. You simply need to adjust two trimmers: the first allows you to vary the sensitivity on the gear lever, while the second allows you to vary the shift time. The system will then adapt the sensitivity and shift times according to the situation (for example, by differentiating between low and high engine speeds).
