GUBELLINI DATA STUDIO
A sophisticated easy to use software for all GRIPONE data recording ecosystem
Our data loggers (such as the GUBELOG-03 and MICROLOG-01) and CAN-BOARDs are managed entirely through a single, free software program: GUBELLINI DataStudio.
With GUBELLINI DataStudio, you can configure the devices: for example, you can configure the inputs (digital and analog), configure the CAN bus and OBDII protocol, set sampling rates, and more.
GUBELLINI DataStudio also allows you to download recorded data (saved in sessions called “datasets”), or extract data directly from the micro SD card.
Finally, GUBELLINI DataStudio provides a series of very powerful analysis tools that make GRIPONE systems a complete data recording ecosystem.
When you launch GUBELLINI DataStudio, you’ll find a hub with access to the various modules, each with a specific purpose. You can configure GUBELOG-03 or MICROLO-01, or you can program the CAN-BOARDs. Each module is independent, so you can work with multiple modules simultaneously.
In addition to the hardware modules for data recording, you’ll have access to comprehensive software for analyzing data, both in time and space. The data analysis module is designed to be simple yet effective. You have complete zoom and pan control using the mouse. The channels window shows you the instantaneous value of each recorded signal. An overview window shows the trend of each channel across the entire dataset, while the main window allows you to analyze a small time segment in detail (so as to detect even the smallest events).
The Virtual Channels Editor module allows you to create new telemetry channels (e.g., velocities, spaces, powers, filters, derivatives, integrals) by mathematically processing the data recorded by the datalogger. The heart of the system is a high-performance vector calculation engine (in C-Script language). You write the “recipe” (the script) for a single instant in time, and the software will automatically execute it at maximum speed for all the hundreds of thousands of samples recorded in the dataset.
The “Layour editor” allows you to show or hide recorded signals as desired. You can choose to display only certain groups of signals. You can also manually adjust the zoom of the vertical axis and the portion of the screen where the signal trend is displayed.
The ability to save layouts with a name also allows you to recall different layouts with a click. Switching between different viewing modes allows for great flexibility in data analysis. For each type of analysis, you will always have your own dedicated layout.
