Description
For some models of motorcycle, we offer the additional GEAR SHIFT SENSOR KIT that lets you use GRIPONE ISIDE 2 as quick shifter. Instead of buy another stand alone quick shifter, you can simply add our GEAR SHIFT SENSOR KIT and use the internal functionality of quick shifter. The GEAR SHIFT SENSOR KIT includes the following parts:
- Load cell sensor: the load cell must be mounted on the rod of the gear shift pedal of the bike,
- Rod ends: the two rod ends must be mounted to the end of rod and to one end of load cell.
- Rod: we supply a combination of rods to allow you to cover the OEM rod length.
- Nuts: to fix together the rod ends, the rod and the load cell
- Additional wiring loom: GRIPONE ISIDE 2 is naturally connected to one cylinder. The quick shifter function needs the connection to all cylinders. The additional wiring loom lets you connect GRIPONE ISIDE 2 to all other cylinders.
The GEAR SHIFT SENSOR KIT is based on a full bridge load cell (0-100 kg) that detects the pressure of the rider on the gearshift pedal. The pressure on the pedal activates the cut trigger and allows the rider to shift into top gear. By means of the GEAR SHIFT SENSOR KIT and GRIPONE ISIDE 2, you can adjust the cutting time, the sensitivity on the pedal and the direction in which the sensor has to work (so that you can use the quick shifter with both traditional and reverse gears). THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK AS BLIPPER.
